For Daniele Chechi, owner of the Centro Ceramico, the return of Moiso's art is an important moment to enrich the permanent collection and he declares: "I am very happy to host this exhibition because Giorgio Moiso was active for a long time at the Fornace Pagliero, where he had already created a large panel with a performance in 2010. With this artistic event an even larger panel will be exhibited. An authentic masterpiece of considerable size composed of 189 panels that were also completed in the Fornace! It will be the most representative work of the exhibition. Its fulcrum. A diamond that will be exhibited in one of the internal courtyards of the complex. Inauguration: Saturday 10 May, at 11:00, Sala delle Colonne, Fornace Pagliero, Castellamonte.

The exhibition will then be open to the public from May 11 to 25 with the following hours:

holidays and days before holidays from 10 to 12:30 and from 15 to 18:30, closed on Mondays, weekdays afternoon opening from 15 to 18:30.

From August 23 to September 14 the exhibition will be open to the public in conjunction with the 64th Castellamonte Ceramics Exhibition 2025.

From November 29 in Savona at the Gulli Arte gallery.

Alberto Giacometti and african art

The precious exhibition Alberto Giacometti and African art brings together two monumental bronzes, Walking Woman from 1932-34 and Standing Nude from 1956, a colored pastel on paper, Buste from 1958, the complete collection of over twenty lithographs printed in Aimé Maeght's Parisian studio, as well as five African wooden sculptures from the eighteenth century. The entire work of the Swiss Master ‒ rightly claims Floriano De Santi, curator of the exhibition and the catalogue - bears witness, with its slender and veiled figures, to the existential condition of man in a world shaken by the threat of the end and the horrors of war.

A simple vase, it is often said, and yet there is nothing simple in this product of human skill. Especially if we look at the production of many traditional populations, in this case the Mangbetu (settled in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo), or the work of the artist Giovanni Matano of Campanian origins but who lives in Castellamonte and with great dexterity models the famous local red clay.

La Fornace Pagliero ha ospitato Change 3, con un allestimento nuovo e sorprendente. Come gli altri anni, un omaggio alla ceramica con la partecipazione di una trentina di artisti di fama nazionale ed internazionale.

In contemporanea è stata aperta la mostra TRIARTE 3, nella quale hanno esposto Franco Zazzeri, Maria Picozzi, Lilian Rita Callegari e "BULEZUMME", una collettiva di 7 artisti ceramisti affermati, provenienti da Savona-Genova-Albissola che hanno presentato le opere inedite realizzate per l'occasione.
